an imaginary travel from the 14th until 21st century
This solo recorder recital introduces the instrument in all its expressive aspects and modes. It associates the techniques of both past and modern times, some from the non-western world, and it includes improvisation.
The programme is an invitation to immerse oneself and a journey through a variety of cultures and times, such as modern Japan, 17th century England, medieval Italy, baroque German music to Music at the court of Louis the XIV th. The audience is invited through an imaginary journey in which short narratives serve to light the way and illustrate the pieces of music. The programme lasts an hour and suits all audiences: children, adults, familiar with music or not.
